I take a lot of pictures, but I'm always sort of unmotivated to post them.  I don't know why, other than I kinda want to post things in series with other similar photos and then I don't know where to start and then I forget and give up.  I dunno.

So at the beginning of the year I promised to post a photo every day.
Then AP classes.

I'll try to post more, since the ice storm that took away our electricity for a week yielded some cool stuff.

After about six different photo-yielding trips this summer, there's a lot to post.  I'll try to do one a day during the school year and see how long I can draw out my posts.

Sooooo...I took another trip to a zoo (This one was the Potter Park Zoo in Lansing) recently and got some good photos, I just started posting Lego creations, I now have folders in my gallery so people who just want to see nature don't have to dig through pages of cars, I may have flooded inbox folders after a long period in which I quite simply did nothing (sorry), I will be gone for two weeks (first for a week in the Florida Keys at a Boy Scout High Adventure camp called Sea Base wherein I will be learning how to sail a small boat for a week with my crew, then to Mackinac Island for another week at the Mackinac Honor Guard scout service camp, which entails three hours of standing guard, a service project, flags in the morning and evening, and freedom on the island the rest of the day.  I hit summer like a freight train...), and I recently purchased a giant $140 LEGO Technic Logging Truck which is quite possibly the most awesome creation I have...Ties with the Eurofighter Typhoon.  So prepare for another long break from me, followed by another flood.  Also, my training season for Cross-Country and pole vault is starting, so I spend a lot of time on my bike, on the weightbench, or on the road.  Oi.

I took another trip to the Detroit Zoo last Friday, which turned out to be perfect timing because it wasn't a blistering hot day and the animals were a lot more active.  Didn't catch the polar bears or the wolverine, but I was told that they had been active during the day.  So if you go to a zoo, try for cooler days.
